Double whammy for Woodroyd. 300m² of Safety Surfacing and 440m² of Bound Aggregate Surfacing to Garden Paths.
Partly because Woodroyd was able to offer both Bound Aggregate AND Rubber Crumb Safety Surfacing, the company was chosen to undertake this prestigious contract in Worcester.
One section of Safety Surfacing was intended to represent a beach and sea whilst another section emulated the sun, moon and stars.
Woodroyd use a revolutionary technique of lightly pre-coating the rubber crumb with a special adhesive resin that enhances the bond of the main adhesive thus creating a stronger surface at lower cost.
In order to provide a child and wheelchair friendly surface Woodroyd's Bound Aggregate was chosen. Bound aggregate is produced by binding aggregate with a special non yellowing adhesive. Installed at about 30mm thick, the path is durable and attractive.
